Le château des Hayes
10 km from Chambord
In an intimate setting with just 19 rooms, a 180-hectare estate just for you! Entering Les Hayes is in itself an invitation to travel. Follow the private road for 1 km through the forest, and at the bend in the path you’ll discover the vast plain and pond overlooked by Château des Hayes. You’ve arrived!
Le Château des Hayes
This 19th-century building, made of tuffeau stone—a historic material typical of the châteaux of the Loire Valley—features 12 rooms and suites, including 2 with home cinema systems. Guests enjoy breakfast at the large communal table or on the terrace overlooking the lake. The boudoir is perfect for a final drink, or you can play a game of billiards in the library.
La Solognote
Close to the château, this typical longère combines the charm of the old with its red bricks and the modernity of steel. It offers 7 rooms and suites. Guests love the spacious living area, fully open to the outdoors thanks to its large bay windows. It creates a seamless indoor-outdoor experience, immersing you in the heart of the Sologne.
Stroll through 180 hectares of plains and forests
The green lung of the estate, yellow or red, depending on the season. The forest is accessible to all, at all times. On foot, run or bike, explore the estate in search of the deer and hinds for which the area is famous. Stroll through our different forests, which will transport you to the heart of Sologne with their oak groves, to the moors with their rows of pine trees, or to the chestnut grove where you can observe our beehives.
Relax by our ponds
An ideal environment for listening to and observing flora and fauna. Each place has its own charm. Take a romantic stroll around the old moat, play a game of Molky by the pond, see the castle reflected in the lake, go fishing or picnicking by the large pond.
The estate is all yours!
Take advantage of our facilities
Where activity and strolling go hand in hand: a large 20-metre swimming pool, a tennis court (rackets and balls available on loan), petanque and Molkky courts, take the small bridge over the old moat, enjoy the pontoon over the pond, listen to the echoes from the bandstand, or meditate in the clearing with the 2 oak trees.
